Getting Mixed Media Exchange Done.....

Well I'm back from Myrtle Beach SC, Pam
and I got in late last night. Was a working
vacation, now its time to get back to the
work I left behind. First in line is to finish
up my 5 x 5" pieces to go out in Wednesdays
mail. Sure hope it makes the deadline
of the 6th. The pieces are done on very light
weight fabric, so it should go in a regular
mailer and not get caught up in the customs
back up at the Canadian border. I am just
tickled the way they are turning out. Can't wait
to see what comes back my way too. This was taken
earlier this evening. Well on their way to being done.

Dolphins on parade

We were privileged to see a large pod of
dolphins a few minutes ago. The lifeguards
pulled everyone in until they were sure it
was just that. They were quite close to the
shore at times. It looked like there were
several females with young, they were
concerned for the swimmers enough to bring
them in closer to shore until the pod moved
on. There must have been some great
fishing in the area to keep them around
that long.

Morning in Myrtle Beach SC

Good morning everyone, lots to catch up with but
really no time. I am on a working vacation right now
and enjoying the scenery while at it. I will post pictures
as I take them, well when I have time.

Michigan Trip 8/1/10

This first picture is of my class that
I taught in Houghton lake MI on Mon.
Had a great time teaching and seeing
lots of old friends.

The second picture is of my booth
in the Sault Area Art Show in Sault
Ste. Marie, MI the next day Tuesday.
We had a great day, but it was extremely
hot and humid. The streets were being
tore up as usual around the area, which
made it very hard to get around and also
parking.

The third picture was just taken from where
I am sitting at the campground. Its of the St. Mary's
River with Sugar Island, MI to the right and along the
back and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada to the left
middle area. It is our twin city. As soon as a
freighter comes up or downbound I will catch a
picture and post it.
